I am a largely self-taught artist currently living and working in Somerset. My enthusiasm for painting and drawing began a long time ago when I enrolled on a one-year art and design foundation course at Reigate School of Art and Design. After many years I have finally returned to painting and drawing as a necessary balance to my working life as a secondary school teacher. My medium of choice would be acrylics usually painted onto paper or canvas but I love to draw with charcoal and also challenge myself with the occasional watercolour.
